iFI Audio micro iDSD

I purchased this with reservation and got it when it was released.
Specification of this headphone amp is so powerful and I have no way to utilize full functionally active at this moment.
I use this one simply as a DAC for iPhone and macbook pro with micro iUSB and iTUBE.
I also use AirPlay with Airport via toslink cable since it's too easy for streaming music data with iPhone and macbook pro.

It comes with lots of cables and attachments.
and manual is so simple and this isn't enough for advanced users, so I refer the following page (in Japanese).

This is the decent review of this meaty monster, but written in Japanese, so you can use google translate to the language you'd like to read.

Audio Equipments I currently use

I use Primare's Amplifier (I30), CD player (CD31) and JBL 4428 Speakers w/ Stand for core audio system.
I purchased them in 2005 and almost done nothing for sound tuning.
Just to place insulators (pure magnesium made) under all equipments.

In addition, for PC audio playback, I use Apogee Mini-DAC w/Firewire IF,  iFi-Audio nano iDSD, iPhone and MacBook Pro.

I connect Amp - Mini-DAC( van den Hul The INTEGRATION HYBRID) with XLR.
Speaker cable is SP-1 by Mitsubishi Cable Inc.
Power cords are by Nordost (Vishnu, Shiva) and Zu Audio.
Oh, I've got more from PS Audio, Ultimate outlet & Juice Bar! and DC adapters from AY Denshi.

OYAIDE Banana plug

I didn't plan to buy, but I think it'll be easier to change speaker cable attach to another AMP.
Really nice one!

Change of the speaker cable

For the first time in 5 years, I decided to change the speaker cable.
I've been using Nordost Red Dawn and have no complain about the sound quality, but just want to try another one that seems to have a better quality.

At first, I though I must buy banana plugs, but thought twice and it's OK without them.

Very crowded cables backwards .....

As far as I've been hearing the sound with SP-1, it's quite alright, seems to produce more natural but strong sound all over.
BWT, i don't believe any AGING OF THE CABLE, it's just AGING OF THE EAR!
